The Shape of Asian Landscapes: Then and Now

This special exhibition is conceived in response to the 2025 theme of the T3 Photo Festival, “Garden.” Drawing inspiration from the symbolic meaning of gardens, it reimagines the cultural, ecological, and aesthetic relationship between nature and urban life in Asia through the lens of photography.

HAYAMI Ihiro
Ihiro Hayami (b. 1982, Osaka Japan) is the founder / director of T3 PHOTO FESTIVAL TOKYO. He’s the former chief editor of Japanese Photography Magazine, “PHaT PHOTO”(2012-2014), and was the gallery director of RINGCUBE (Ginza). His selected curatorial exhibitions include, “Parlez-vous photographie” co-curated with Marc Feustel(2023), and “The Everyday” co-curated with Kiritorimederu (2022). Over the past few years, he has served as juror, lecturer, and reviewer at various international photo festivals and photography universities.

KIM Jeong Eun
A Pioneering Force in Asian Art Photography
KIM Jeong Eun (b. 1978, Seoul Korea) is a leading figure in contemporary art photography in Asia. She is the publisher of IANNBOOKS and the founder of THE REFERENCE, a cultural hub dedicated to art books and exhibitions. In 2024, she was appointed Fair Director of T3 PHOTO ASIA (Tokyo), where she directs gallery curation and strategic partnerships. With expertise in curating and building institutional connections across Asia, she plays a central role in advancing international networks in photography.
