Tsumari Story — RongRong&Inri
RongRong(China) and Inri(Japan) first met in Tokyo in 1999 and began working together through photography the following year. Presented as a key work in this year’s Masters exhibition, Tsumari Story(2012–2014) brings together the central themes of their practice ̶ shared life, family, nature, place, and belonging ̶ reflecting their journey as a Chinese-Japanese artist couple.

In 2007, they founded Three Shadows Photography Art Centre in Beijing and later initiated the Jimei×Arles International Photo Festival. Based in Kyoto since 2015, they developed Jifei Kyoto, which has since evolved into the broader Jifei Photography project, and established Jifei-an as a space for experimental creation and presentation. Their work has been exhibited and collected by major institutions including M+, MoMA, and the International Center of Photography.
