中国出身のロンロン（RongRong）と日本出身のインリ（inri）は、1999年に東京で出会い、翌2000年から写真を通じた共同制作を開始しました。今年の「Masters」展の主要作品として紹介される《Tsumari Story》（2012–2014）は、二人の実践を貫く重要なテーマである、共同生活、家族、自然、場所、そして帰属意識を一つに集約した作品であり、中国人と日本人のアーティスト・カップルとして歩んできた二人の軌跡を映し出しています。
RongRong(China) and Inri(Japan) first met in Tokyo in 1999 and began working together through photography the following year. Presented as a key work in this year’s Masters exhibition, Tsumari Story(2012–2014) brings together the central themes of their practice ̶ shared life, family, nature, place, and belonging ̶ reflecting their journey as a Chinese-Japanese artist couple.
